It’s that time of year again when thousands of Canadians gear up to show support for local Hospices by participating in the national “Hike for Hospice” on Sunday, May 1st, 2011.
Stedman Community Hospice benefits from our local Hike, as every dollar raised in Brantford stays in our community. Hike proceeds will ensure that our Hospice programs and services remain free-of-charge and are available to anyone at any age or stage of a terminal illness.
Our Hike for Hospice has become one of the largest annual community events in Brantford. Last year alone, a record-setting $161,700 was raised for Stedman Community Hospice. This was the fifth consecutive year that Brantford captured “Top Fundraising” honours among all Hospices across Canada!
Corporate sponsorship has become the fastest growing type of marketing in North America. Sponsoring events such as the Hike for Hospice contributes to boosting profits, enhancing visibility and image as well as establishing goodwill in the community.
