Stedman Community Hospice

Stedman Community Hospice is a leader in end-of life care, where the focus remains on living, not dying.

Adjacent to the main building of St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre in Brantford, the Hospice is a free-standing home that offers a variety of programs and services to meet the needs of the terminally ill and their families.

Thanks to the generosity of a caring community, especially those who participate in the Hike, the Hospice remains free-of-charge to anyone, at any age or stage of life threatening illness.

Our volunteers are the heart of our Hospice, providing approximately 1,500 hours each month to the many tasks and activities taking place at Stedman Community Hospice. These volunteer contributions ensure our programs operate at the lowest possible cost. The wonderful compassionate, caring work that is being done by staff and volunteers is never ending.
